Description: Assistant Chief Tillett was fatally injured when he was pinned between his patrol car and a truck. Assistant Chief Tillett pulled off the road behind a dump truck which was parked on the highway. He had just stepped out of the patrol car when the truck driver backed into the side of the patrol car. Assistant Chief Tillett was pinned between the two vehicles and sustained multiple internal injuries.He died before he could receive medical attention.
