Description: Officer Targosz died from injuries sustained the previous day when his department motorcycle was struck by a drunken driver. The suspect driver ran a red light and struck several parked vehicles before striking Officer Targosz who was also stopped at the red light. Officer Targosz was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries one hour later while in surgery.
