Description: Police Officer II Thomas was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver. Officer Thomas was on his way home from his shift when he was involved in a minor traffic crash. Officer Thomas was directing traffic around the crash when he was struck by a car. Officer Thomas was in full uniform and wearing a reflective vest when he was struck by the driver. Officer Thomas died at a nearby hospital. The driver was apprehended.
