Description: Sergeant Talbot was killed after being dragged by a vehicle fleeing a roadside safety checkpoint in Rock Island, Illinois. As Sergeant Talbot approached the vehicle and address the driver, the suspect sped away from the scene. Sergeant Talbot became entangled with the fleeing vehicle and was dragged approximately four and a half blocks before falling from the vehicle. Sergeant Talbot's wife is also an Illinois State Trooper and his daughter is currently attending the Illinois State Police Academy.
