Description: Deputy Patrolman Turpin was shot as he attempted to arrest an intoxicated suspect who was terrorizing the neighborhood. As Patrolman Turpin attempted to enter the residence, the suspect shot him through the window. Patrolman Turpin died at the scene. The suspect was shot and killed by responding officers.
