Description: Special Deputy U.S. Marshal Tatum fell to his death when he stepped from a train and off of the trestle into the creek 75 feet below. Because of poor lighting conditions, Deputy Tatum did not realize that the train had stopped just short of the station. Deputy Tatum was on assignment to raid a moonshine still when the incident occurred.
