Description: Officer Taylor was struck and killed while providing traffic control around a vehicle crash. As Officer Taylor directed the traffic during snowy conditions, an SUV entered the left lane of travel while attempting to pass other vehicles. The driver lost control of his vehicle and struck Officer Taylor. Officer Taylor was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
