Description: Patrolman Tindal and Patrolman Freddie Shelley were on routine patrol when their cruiser was struck by vehicle whose driver was traveling more than 50 mph. The patrol car was thrown 63 feet from point of impact. Patrolman Shelley was thrown from the car but survived the incident. Patrolman Tindal was paralyzed from the neck down and died 15 years later from his injuries.
