Description: Corporal Thompson died of a heart attack while exercising in the Police Department gym as part of his department's physical fitness program. Corporal Thompson was found on his back next to a stationary bicycle shortly after 7am when he was not present for his shift's roll call. Corporal Thompson was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Corporal Thompson signed in to the gym at 0441 hours.
