Description: The suspect killed his girlfriend then asked a citizen to call the police. The suspect hid in wait in tall weeds near the girl's body. When Officer Thomas arrived the suspect shot him once with a shotgun. Officer Thomas was able to return fire and struck and killed the suspect.
