Description: Lieutenant Travis died of a heart attack in the early hours on March 5, 2015. Lieutenant Travis cleared the walkway and parking lot of the Bullitt County Detention Center of snow near the end of his shift on Wednesday night. After driving several officers home, Lieutenant Travis returned to the Detention Center where he began to experience of chest pains. Lieutenant Travis declined medical attention and returned home, where he collapsed and was found later that day, still in uniform.
