Description: Deputy Sheriff Turner was shot as he attempted to serve a warrant to a wanted desperado. The desperado fled the scene but was later captured. The desperado and a second inmate staged a jailbreak and Oklahoma City Police Chief Milton Jones (39-W: 5) was killed while attempting to arrest them. The second inmate had been incarcerated for the murder of Deputy Sheriff Sam Farris (14-E: 28).
