Description: On October 3, 2018, Investigator Turner was shot while attempting to meet and interview a suspect in a criminal sexual conduct case. Several officers were shot and wounded in the incident. The wounded officers were transported to the hospital where Florence Police Sergeant Terrence Carraway was pronounced dead. Investigator Turner died of her injuries three weeks later on October 22nd. The suspect was taken into custody.
