Description: On January 15, 2008, Trooper Tyler slipped on a patch of ice in the department parking lot and suffered a spinal injury. Trooper Tyler underwent multiple surgeries and experienced numbness from the waist down and was prescribed numerous medications. On November 23, 2012, Trooper Tyler died as complication of sleep apnea associated with the prescription medication.
