Description: Police Officer Torbit was shot and killed while attempting to stop a fight at a local night club. Officer Torbit was working a department sanctioned off-duty security job and was not in uniform at the time of the incident. Officer Torbit identified himself as a Police Officer and intervened to stop the fight. Fellow law enforcement officers mistook Officer Torbit as the offender and shot him numerous times. Inadvertent Fire.
