Description: Constable Tipps, Constable Hollifield and two other law enforcement officials went to the residence of a suspect to serve a warrant for concealing stolen property. The suspect first appeared to go willingly with the officers but suddenly produced a weapon and shot Constable Tipps in the head. Constable Tipps was transported to the hospital where he died shortly after arrival.
