Description: Officer Uribe was shot and killed while conducting a traffic stop on West Cactus Road. Officer Uribe called in the license plate number and approached the vehicle. As he approached the driver's door, the suspect opened fire. A local citizen called 911 and reported the shooting. Officer Uribe was transported to a local hospital with fatal wounds to his head and neck. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
