Description: Constable Ury was fatally shot as he attempted to serve a subpoena for the non-payment of rent. The suspect then barricaded himself in his residence and engaged in a gun battle with responding officers. Deputy Sheriff Fred Certain was killed as he and fellow officers attempted to arrest the suspect for murder. The suspect was taken into custody.
