Description: Auxiliary Patrolman VanCleave was killed in an automobile accident while riding in the rear of a stretcher car while transporting a heart attack victim to a local hospital. A vehicle struck the stretcher car broadside at an intersection. Officer VanCleave was transported to the hospital where he died the next day.
