Description: Patrolman Verteramo was killed in an automobile accident while responding to an accident involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian. While attempting to negotiate a curve, his patrol car left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Patrolman Verteramo was transported to a local hospital in Albany where he died four hours later.
