Description: Officer Vanfossan had a heart attack immediately after he and other officers struggled with a suspect at the scene of a domestic disturbance. During the struggle the officers were forced to use pepper spray. Four officers held the suspect down as Officer Vanfossan put on the handcuffs. Officer Vanfossan collapsed after placing the suspect into his patrol unit. He was transferred to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
