Description: Patrolman Van Dusen responded to an emergency call where a woman was walking in the center of the road in severe weather conditions of 7?F, with 18 mph winds. While responding, Patrolman Van Dusen crashed into a snow bank. Fellow officers found Patrolman Van Dusen inside the cruiser gasping for breath. Patrolman Van Dusen was rushed a local hospital where he suffered a heart attack, slipped into a coma and died.
