Description: Deputy Villegas was killed in an automobile accident while responding to a domestic disturbance call. Deputy Villegas' patrol vehicle was directly behind another officer's patrol vehicle when an oncoming vehicle lost control and crossed into their lane. The first officer was able to swerve his patrol vehicle to safety. Deputy Villegas was struck head-on and killed instantly.
