Description: Officer Vallandingham was murdered at Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Lucasville. Officer Vallandingham was one of 11 Officers held hostage by inmates during a lengthy riot which began on April 11, 1993. Officer Vallandingham was beaten by his captors, who threw his body out of the prison midway through the 11-day siege.
