Description: Police Officer Van Arsdale drowned when he slipped and fell into an icy canal during a routine patrol search of the area. The accident occurred when Officer Van Arsdale was trying to get around the fence by the end of the dock. The coroner' jury inquest concluded that Officer Van Arsdale' death was accidental.
