Description: Deputy Walden was shot and killed by three drunk people during a routine traffic stop. As Deputy Walden stopped the motorist for speeding and as he approached the car, the driver fired. Deputy Walden, though mortally wounded, was able to shoot the suspect four times. approached the Unbeknownst to Deputy Walden, the driver had murdered a man and was driving the stolen car. Deputy Walden died of his injuries three days later. The three suspects were convicted of murder.
