Description: Patrolman Woods was shot and killed after responding to a domestic violence call. After Patrolman Woods entered the home, the suspect produced a handgun and shot a woman in the residence. Patrolman Woods was shot twice in the head as he attempted to take the handgun from the suspect. Patrolman Woods was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
