Description: Sergeant Wallace and Police Officer Matthew Tokuoka were ambushed and killed by a lone gunman. Officer Tokuoka was off-duty and in his car with his family when he stopped to talk to Sergeant Wallace, who was on duty at the time.A suspect fatally shot both officers as they stood by the patrol vehicle. Officer Tokuoka died hours later at a local hospital, and Sergeant Wallace died during surgery.
