Description: Chief Bailiff Wilkerson was shot in the chest and killed by a suspect in an Orange County courtroom on January 10, 1984. Deputy Harry Dalton was shot in the face by the suspect as he attempted to search him. While fleeing, the suspect fatally shot Bailiff Wilkerson and critically wounded Corrections Officer Mark Parker. Officer Parker (36-W: 27) was paralyzed and died from his injuries on March 19, 2009. Deputy Dalton (2-E: 18) succumbed to his injuries on March 25, 1991.
