Description: Deputy Walker was shot and killed by an inmate who was attempting to escape. Deputy Walker and his partner escorted three inmates to a dentist's office. As Deputy Walker unlocked the handcuffs to take one of the inmates to the exam room, the other two inmates attacked him. One inmate gained control of a service weapon and fatally shot Deputy Walker. The second deputy was also shot but recovered.
