Description: Deputy Wright and Officer Zach Bentley went to execute a warrant for a man charged with public intoxication. When they attempted to serve the warrant, the man began shooting. As shots were exchanged between the lawmen and the suspect, Deputy Wright was struck in the leg and died on the way to the hospital. The suspect was tried in a court of law and found not guilty by reason of self defense.
