Description: Special Agent Woody was shot in the abdomen when he went to a residence to investigate a rock throwing incident at the Southern Pacific train yard in Oakland, California. As Agent Woody approached the 16 year old suspect, the intoxicated juvenile cursed at the officer and shot him with a 12-gauge shotgun. Agent Woody died nine days later of his injuries. The suspect was convicted of murder.
