Description: Special Deputy Sheriff Williams was accidentally shot by a fellow deputy as they attempted to arrest a burglary suspect. As Deputy Williams attempted to handcuff the suspect, the suspect resisted arrest. The second deputy drew his .38 handgun and the gun accidentally discharged. Deputy Williams sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to the hospital where he died. The coroner and the sheriff ruled the death as accidental. Inadvertent Fire.
