Description: Trooper Wilder was shot when he stopped a suspicious vehicle. Trooper Wilder had one of the occupants exit the vehicle, when another person came from behind and shot Trooper Wilder once in the back just above the hip. Trooper Wilder was transported to the hospital where he died of his injuries.
