Description: Officer Ware was shot and killed by a suspect after Officer Ware had broken up a fight involving the suspect. While attempting to search the suspect, the suspect pulled a gun on Officer Ware and hot him in the head. The suspect was apprehended and convicted. In 1916, the suspect was paroled by the governor.
