Description: Police Officer Wilson was shot as he attempted to arrest a burglar in the rail yards. The suspects escaped but were captured the following year. The suspects were implicated in the murder of Muskogee Deputy Joseph Morgan and Phoenix Police Officer Haze Burch. Both suspects were convicted of murder. One suspect was sentenced to death and the second suspect received a 99 year sentence.
