Description: Detective Wouters was shot and killed while processing a prisoner who had been arrested on drug charges. Detective Wouters was processing the suspect when the prisoner suddenly pulled out a concealed handgun and opened fire. The suspect then turned the gun on himself and committed suicide. Detective Wouters was transported to a local hospital where he died approximately 45 minutes later.
