Description: Officer Washington was attempting to arrest an intoxicated man who was waving a gun and threatening to shoot anyone who dared to take it from him. The suspect shot Officer Washington in the abdomen and fled the scene. Officer Washington died before help arrived. The suspect was found guilty in a court of law and executed by hanging.
