Description: Detective White was shot and killed while investigating a suspected methamphetamine lab at a residence. As law enforcement officers approached the door to the residence, a suspect opened fire, shooting Detective White and a second detective. The suspect attempted to flee the scene but was shot and killed by law enforcement officers. Detective White died at a nearby hospital. The second detective was treated for his injuries and released.
