Description: Chief Williams radioed to the dispatcher that he would be checking a suspicious subject. His patrol car was found partly submerged in a creek. Five hours later his frozen body was found in a snow-covered, icy field a quarter-mile from the car. A suspect was arrested and charged with kidnapping and murder.
