Description: Assistant Chief Wynn and Chief Melton were pursuing a speeding motorist and overtook the auto in an attempt to block its path. The motorist rammed into the side of the patrol car, which caused it to overturn. Assistant Chief Wynn was killed and Chief Melton was injured.
