Description: Officer Wishart had been appointed to guard the graveyard to stop illegal dumping. A man came to the graveyard with his workers attempting to dump rubbish and was informed by Officer Wishart that he was no longer permitted to use the graveyard for such purposes. The man drew two revolvers and shot Officer Wishart. Officer Wishart died of his injuries the next day. The suspect was convicted of manslaughter.
