Description: Deputy Marshal Wilson was shot and killed near Lenapah, Indian Territory (modern day Oklahoma). The suspect was caught and convicted but was pardoned for Marshal Wilson's death for his help with talking a man into surrendering during an 1895 gunfight in Fort Smith, Arkansas, in which Guard Lawrence Keating was murdered.
