Description: Patrolman Wright approached a suspect to question him regarding a series of bad checks. Patrolman Wright stepped on the running board of the car. The suspect sped down the street, failed to make a turn and crashed into a tree. Patrolman Wright was thrown to the ground and died from his injuries. The suspect was charged with murder.
