Description: Chief Deputy Sheriff Williamson was killed in an automobile crash when a pickup truck collided with his patrol car at an intersection. Chief Deputy Williamson and a second deputy were responding, with emergency lights and siren activated, to a call regarding a personal injury incident involving a small child. Chief Deputy Williamson died at the scene. The driver of the truck was also killed. The second deputy recovered from his injuries.
