Description: Night Watchman Whybark was shot multiple times as he attempted to stop a burglary in progress at a jewelry store. Night Watchman Whybark died at the scene. The suspect was also implicated in the death of three other people, including Alameda County Deputy Andrew Lindquist two months prior. The suspect was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison.
