Description: Deputy Marshal Williams was shot and killed while attempting to arrest a bootlegger in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Marshal Williams and a fellow marshal entered the suspect's residence and the suspect shot Marshal Williams in the heart. The bullet killed Marshal Williams instantly. The other deputy then shot and killed the suspect.
