Description: Patrolman Wyatt was working as a payroll guard and was on his way to the Continental National Bank riding south on Prospect Street. As Patrolman Wyatt approached 12th Street, a car crossed into his path. Patrolman Wyatt attempted to swerve but his motorcycle skidded and crashed into the car. Patrolman Wyatt managed to grab the beams of the car but lost his grip and was crushed beneath the wheels. Officer Wyatt was pronounced dead at the scene.
