Description: Sheriff White was shot and killed when he answered a disturbance call at a tavern. Sheriff White was returning to his car when the suspect approached and shot him. A citizen attempted to intervene, but the suspect threatened him as well. The suspect proceeded to shoot Sheriff White several times at point-blank range.The suspect then turned the shotgun on himself and died two days later.
