Description: Deputy U.S. Marshal Wilson and Deputy Homer Adams were shot when they went to a residence to serve a warrant for the illegal manufacture of moonshine. The son of the suspect shot both deputies. Deputy Marshal Wilson died at the scene. Deputy Adams survived his injuries.
